I was looking for someone to teach me how to play by ear. I knew the basics but I really wanted master it because I was sick of watching videos and staring at tabs. Within a few short weeks, I had finally started to grab those elusive notes and I could really see the track Brett had me on was going to get me there. About Brett
Gold Coast Guitar Lessons - About me.
I am a professional musician of 35+ years of playing gigs under my belt with theory and guitar AMEB qualifications.
I am also a professional singer who can guide people into learning to sing and play. This is a very important skill for performers and song writers to nurture.
Many years experience teaching in music schools and privately. I provide an easy-going, quick learning & comfortable environment for you.
The most important thing to me is that you enjoy your experience playing guitar. Bottom line I teach so you have fun.
The lessons are broken up into sections so we cover the important fundamentals and then we get to jam and have fun with songs you or I choose.
I teach theory as well as learning to play by ear. I have many ways to naturally enhance your ability to learn and ultimately play better in the shortest time possible.
Many years of experience has taught me some serious shortcuts to learning quickly.
Aural and ear training also available.
There is nothing can replace a great ear and I have been told by colleagues all over I have some of the best ears around.

Have held residency gigs for years at Twin Towns, Star (Jupiters) Casino, Pallazo Versace, Sheraton Mirage just to name a few. Have appeared on national TV.
I have high quality & professional recording set up too & am a very experienced sound engineer, so I can fully prepare anyone for the roles and rigours of a studio environment.
The only issue I ever have is that I get booked out a lot so spaces are very limited.
